PWA all the way

So this year Google has been putting a lot of drive and energy into PWA (Progressive Web App) According to this article over on cnbc.com, Nearly three-quarters of the world will use just their smartphones to access the internet by 2025.

Considering these stats, if you are thinking of building a new website or looking to redesign one, you should consider developing your website as PWA with no doubts.

What is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a hybrid of a regular web page and a mobile application. A PWA combines features offered by most modern browsers with the benefits of the mobile experience. They are built using standard web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
The functionalities include working offlinepush notifications, and device hardware access and enabling user experiences similar to native applications.

Why should you consider using a PWA?

A few weeks ago, I was looking for more information about PWA, and I found a very cool website pwastats.com, it shows the stats of all the most famous companies which are using PWA. It was impressive to find out how the companies improved the performance of their website, mostly more than 100%.

A Progressive Web App can cut load times, allow users to navigate offlineincrease the time spent on the website, increase revenue, can be much smaller than a mobile app usually around 1MB in size.

Can anyone use a PWA?

To make a Progressive Web App at first, we need a responsive built website. If that requirement is met or already considered as part of a new website development then you can leave the rest up to us. We now include the option of PWA with all of our website builds.

But we won’t stop there we will also include:

  • Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
  • Accelerated Mobile Pages (Google AMP)
  • Facebook Instant Articles (FBIA)

And build them together to make your WordPress website instant, installable, accessible, offline usable, push notification supported, favoured in Google search results and Facebook News Feed & much more…

Deftones Album “White Pony” 20 Years later

I listened to the album in its entirety, didn’t skip, repeat or pause. It blew me away the album was insanely beyond any expectations I had. It was an ocean of soundscapes occasionally swelling in distorted guitars to calming swill of soft almost whispered lyrics washing around.  Whatever Terry Date and the Deftones created in the studio was nothing short of audio creativity.
